Treasures and Trinkets
In this class you’ll make the ByAnnie Treasures & Trinkets case — a clever “small train case” style organizer available in three sizes. The unique folding design and optional removable pods let you separate and protect multiple types of items while a top handle and zippered closure keep everything secure and portable.
You’ll learn (or refine) essential bag-making skills that transfer to many other ByAnnie projects, including precise cutting and labeling, handbag zipper installation, working with vinyl, making and applying bias binding, and helpful construction tips. Many tips and tricks will be shared throughout class.
This is a great project for organizing sewing machine feet, embroidery floss, jewelry, or any small treasures you want to keep tidy and protected.

| Requirements: | Treasures & Trinkets pattern by ByAnnie All fabric, Soft and Stable (or equivalent), interfacing, vinyl, zippers, and hardware required for the size you choose (see pattern back for exact amounts) Coordinating thread and wound bobbins Sewing machine in good working order with power cord and foot pedal Feet: ¼? foot, zipper foot, regular/zigzag foot (walking foot and Teflon foot optional but helpful) New size 90/14 needle (topstitch recommended) Rotary cutter with sharp blade, rulers, and cutting mat Basic sewing tools: scissors, pins or wonder clips, seam ripper, fabric marking pen, stiletto or tweezers Pre-class prep completed: all fabric quilted, cut, and labeled; pattern pages 1–2 read; copies of label pages made Notebook or extra paper for notes |
